Three years ago, the Thai Australia Network (TAN) felt the time had come to build on the great friendships and relationships that we had developed through our monthly networking gatherings that brought fantastic people together to share, laugh and learn.
As an association, our goal was to continue providing a platform for great individuals to mix and share – but also gain a greater understanding and appreciation for the fantastic cultures of Thailand and Australia.
Dr Simon Wallace, Honorary Consul General – Royal Thai Consulate General was the Board’s head and the inaugural Patron was the then Ambassador of Thailand to Australia HE Chirachai Punkrasin.
Over the three years since its incorporation as an association, TAN’s reputation has grown on a foundation of hosting numerous events and activities dedicated to building stronger Thai – Australia links through friendship and camaraderie.
